International Society for Ecological Informatics (ISEI4)

Welcome to I.S.E.I.Dear colleagues

We are very pleased to announce that 4th conference of the International Society for Ecological Informatics (ISEI4: http://www.isei4.org) will be held in Busan (Pusan), Republic of Korea (South) on October 24-28, 2004. The themes for ISEI4 are as follows:

• Advanced interpretation of ecosystems exposed to various natural and anthropogenic stresses by utilizing state-of-the-art computational methods.
• Implementation of ecological informatics for a wider spectrum of real situations across different scales from genes to ecosystems.
• Advancing the universality of ecological measures in expressing ecosystem qualities across different regimes: different geographic areas (e.g. nations, continents), different pollution strengths and agents, different taxa, and different fields (e.g. conservation, fisheries, agriculture, etc).

I would be very happy for your participation in ISEI4 and look forward to seeing you in Busan.
