Марин Иван Николаевич

Родился в г. Омске 24 июля 1980 г.

В 1998 году переехал в г. Барнаул, где окончил среднюю школу и в 1997 году. поступил на Биологический факультет Алтайского государственного университета. Окончил университет в 2002 году, дипломная работа была посвящена кораллобионтам Южного Вьетнама на материале, собранном д.б.н. Т.А. Бритаевым и выполнена под его руководством.

С 2002-2006 год являлся аспирантом очной аспирантуры Института проблем экологии и эволюции им. А.Н. Северцова (ИПЭЭ) РАН, научный руководитель – д.б.н. Т.А. Бритаев. В марте 2006 года защитил кандидатскую диссертацию по теме «Симбиотическое сообщество, ассоциированное с кораллами рода Galaxea Oken», по специальности гидробиология – 03.00.18 (ИПЭЭ, Москва, 2006). С апреля 2006 года – научный сотрудник лаборатории экологии и морфологии морских беспозвоночных ИПЭЭ РАН.

Основные научные интересы: систематика, филогения и биогеография десятиногих ракообразных семейств Palaemonidae и Alpheidae; разнообразие, структура и взаимоотношения внутри симбиотических комплексов.

Во время учёбы в Алтайском университете участвовал в пяти экспедициях Ботсада АГУ по республике Алтай и Монголии. Работая в ИПЭЭ РАН в 2003 году в экспедиции на Баренцево море, а в 2003-2006 гг. в 4-х экспедициях в залив Нячанг, Вьетнам.

В 2004 году проходил стажировку в Университете штата Альберта, Канада.

Является участником и исполнителем грантов РФФИ и ИНТАС.
