MAIN GOALS AND TASKS

The Group was initiated to study the ecology of communities in fresh-water, it was based on the Hydrobiology station “Glubokoye Ozero”. The research program comprises the species composition, distribution, seasonal and long-term variations in zooplankton, as well as the systematics, morphology and biology of particular groups of animal, with special reference to Cladocera, including the individual variability.
